What’s involved?
- Observe hands-on care with a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with passing out ice, meal trays, etc
- Observe the flow of a long-term care healthcare environment
- Answering call lights
- Rounding on residents to see if they have needs, then contacting personnel to resolve resident’s
needs - Assist with activities
- Time family visits
- Pass out snacks
- Obtain supplies from supply room for CNA or Nurse
- Tidy rooms
- Make beds
- Help residents write letters to family
