The Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse is a qualified individual with knowledge of CDC guidelines and definitions of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), as well as federal and state regulations. Responsible for the identification, investigation, reporting, prevention, and control of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) among patients and personnel. Responsible for assisting with Inservice programs related to infection prevention and control.

As Employee Health Nurse he/she is responsible for maintaining annual competencies for all employees at this facility and teaches all C.N.A. classes and maintains state requirements. Maintains all state-mandated C.N.A. in-service records. Offers and teaches CPR, ACLS, PALS to all required areas in clinical areas. As Employee Health Nurse performs and maintains files of annual TB skin test on all employees at this facility. Maintains all blood / bodily fluid exposure on all employees at this facility.

RN License required. Full time with Benefits.
